Yeoward & Co. (“yo’wood”) is a generational supplier of Australian wool.

The business was established in 1968 by Ian (dec. ’13) to initially supply  Australian based processors after the closure of  the Australian buying offices of his family’s reputable topmaking mill based in Bradford UK, a mill  that can be traced back to the beginning of both the UK and Australian early stage wool processing industries.  With industry drift to lower cost Europe and Asia the mill  evolved into a specialist Top processor until sold in 2006 to a EU comber.

Over the last 30 odd years, Ian’s sons, initially Bruce, with his father taught  hands-on wool appraisal skills,  and subsequently Mark, with his  professional business  skills,  we operate uniquely with low overheads and competitive firm prices and indent fees.  Our motto is “we buy or sell right, deliver right”.

        With our multi-skills and  seasoned experiences we have the  solid foundation required to  proactively adapt to  the industry’s future challenges.

We have supplied, as Principals or Agents,  Australian Merino Greasy, Scoureds, Tops, Open Tops, Carbonised and Greasy XBD types to customers in UK, Europe, Far East, North America, India and Middle East.

We operate as an  independent hands-on supplier  Australia-wide and as a Trading member of the Australian Wool Exchange Ltd. (AWEX).
